Fun with taxidermy

Very much enjoyed this thing this week about photographer Klaus Pichler’s “Skeletons in the Closet” series behind the scenes at the Vienna Museum of Natural History. Partially because the face that shark seems to be making is oddly charming, partially due to my fondness for peering into other people’s storage spaces, which is made even more fun when it’s a museum. Doubly so when it’s a museum with taxidermied animals lurking around every corner.
